The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:30am – 8pm. The initial hours during training will be 8:30am – 5pm.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
Once fully trained, you will have the opportunity to also be trained as a Contact Centre Agent, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering inbound phone calls for appointment bookings.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Effectively managing the appointment calendar.
