Role description:
With the boom in high-profile complex infrastructure projects we are involved in, we are looking to expand the team and have several opportunities for experienced OBM / MicroStation Modelers to join us on a casual basis. This role can be undertaken in any of our Australian offices, and you will be an integral part of the Bridges and Structures teams.
Role accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality design documentation including drawings and sketches using Bentley Produces.
- Produce project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with Arcadis standards and client compliance.
- Follow BIM execution plans and drawings according to client and internal requirements.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems and respond to client feedback.
- Resolving complex technical modelling and design issues.
- Contributing to Engineering design discussions and suggesting alternative design approaches for Engineers to consider.
- Be a champion for digital delivery, embracing the changing ways in which we work to deliver added value to our clients.
Qualification & Experience:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life through enhanced digital solutions. You are an experienced OBM/Bentley Modelling software with significant knowledge of linear infrastructure including bridges and tunnels and come to us with:
- Experience on local projects and familiarity with DTP/VIDA and/or other states compliance.
- An understanding of BIM and digital engineering and a desire to learn and adopt these processes in your work.
- Proven adaptability converting from a 2D to 3D documentation environment.
- Previous experience in large Instructure projects will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of the Bentley suite of software packages. Open Bridge Modeler (OBM), MicroStation, Projectwise and Bluebeam PDF software.
