If you take pride in a clean finish and a job done right, we want you on board. With a growing portfolio of high-end residential, commercial, and architectural projects across Melbourne, Geelong, the Great Ocean Road, and Colac – there's no shortage of exciting work.
At Paint It Black, you'll be backed with solid systems, long-term job security, and room to grow while working alongside some of Victoria's best builders and architects.

What you'll do:

Applies paint, varnish, and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures.
erecting scaffolding, platforms and ladders.
Taping up and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
washing out brushes, cleaning equipment and work areas

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 + super (depending on experience)

What we're looking for:

holds a Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
Victorian driver's license (own vehicle a bonus)
Strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail (Must have!)
Reliable and punctual
Respectful and ready to work as part of a team
Ability to follow site plans and manage time effectively
Keen attitude and willingness to learn
