Key Responsibilities:
- Apply high-quality finishes to joinery components, including preparation, application, and finishing stages
- Be proficient and skilled in staining, lacquering, painting, oiling and varnishing in addition to polishing and waxing
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery as required
- Maintain consistency and attention to detail in all finishing processes
- Provide coaching and instructions to trainees in finishing techniques and workshop procedures
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate workflow and maintain productivity levels
- Ensure all WHS guidelines are recognised and adhered to
