Epping Electrical Services Pty Ltd (ACN: 168 313 031) is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our growing team based in Epping, Victoria.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate and adjust electronic equipment and systems to meet operational and safety standards
- Install and configure CCTV systems, alarm systems, intercoms, smart doorbell systems, TV systems, antenna systems and communication equipment
- Carry out electronic equipment fit-out works for residential and commercial projects
- Test and troubleshoot electronic systems and equipment to identify faults and operational issues
- Diagnose faults in electronic communication systems, security systems and related equipment
- Repair and replace defective electronic components, cabling, wiring and associated parts
- Conduct servicing, maintenance and performance checks of electronic equipment and systems
- Assist with switchboard integration and associated electronic system installations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
- Ensure all installation, maintenance and repair works comply with Australian Standards and workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance activities and service reports
- Liaise with clients and team members regarding technical requirements and project progress
Requirements
- Applicant must hold a Diploma of Electronics and Communication or an equivalent qualification relevant to the occupation
- Applicant must have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic security systems, CCTV systems, alarm systems, communication equipment, TV and antenna systems and related electronic equipment
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills relating to electronic systems and equipment
- Sound knowledge of audiovisual systems, fire alarm systems, home theatre systems, security systems and video equipment installations and repairs
- Knowledge and practical experience as an Audiovisual Technician, Fire Alarm Technician, Home Theatre Technician, Security Technician and Video Technician will be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of electronic equipment, cabling systems, communication systems and associated components
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics and specifications
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and Australian industry standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within required timeframes
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Current driver licence will be highly regarded
