Full Job Description

Your Role as Our Content Creator

As our Content Creator, you will be at the heart of our content production and brand storytelling. You will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging video, photo, and text content designed to promote our clients' brands across social media platforms and digital channels—with a particular focus on cross-cultural marketing between Australia and China. Your goal will be to grow our clients' audiences, boost brand awareness, and drive engagement through high-quality visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce high-quality video, photographic, and multimedia content for social media platforms (including Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Weibo, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook) tailored to attract diverse cultural audiences.

· Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, brand promotions, and client projects, managing end-to-end production from pre-production (storyboarding, scripting) through to post-production (editing, color grading, sound design).

· Apply statistical modelling and data analysis methods to assess the potential impact of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and campaign variables on client profitability and return on investment.

· Monitor the performance of content marketing initiatives across all digital channels, providing regular reporting, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to optimize audience growth and brand awareness.

· Analyze data from digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms and recommend updates to digital content and website copy to improve search engine metrics (SEO) and overall content discoverability.

· Collaborate with the marketing and strategy teams to conceptualize and execute innovative content campaigns that resonate with both Australian and Chinese consumer behaviors, adapting content to overcome language and cultural barriers.

· Stay up to date with emerging trends in digital content, social media algorithms, and video production techniques to keep our clients' content strategies ahead of the curve.

· Maintain brand consistency across all content while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table.

What You Bring to the Team

At least bachelor’s degrees in film studies and moving Image are strongly preferred.
Proven experience as a Content Creator, Video Producer, or similar role, with at least 1+ year of post-qualification professional experience in content creation, video production, or digital marketing.
Strong portfolio showcasing your creative video, photo, and multimedia content (please include a link or samples with your application).
Proficiency in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects) and familiarity with camera equipment and lighting.
Experience in creating content for social media platforms, particularly Chinese platforms such as Xiaohongshu, WeChat, and Weibo, as well as Western platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin language skills are a significant advantage.
Cultural sensitivity and awareness to create content that appeals to diverse audiences across Australia and China.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media.
