About the role

The Governance Document System Coordinator manages and improves Barwon Health’s document control system, ensuring policies, procedures, frameworks and guidelines are accurate, compliant and effectively governed. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, the role promotes consistency, accessibility and best practice in document management, policy development and lifecycle governance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and enhance Barwon Health’s document control system, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and organisational standards.
Provide guidance, training and support to document authors and stakeholders to promote best practice in document management.
Monitor document governance processes, reporting and continuous improvement activities to maintain quality and compliance.
Administer document management systems, including user access, system support and platform enhancements.
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to improve document accessibility, streamline processes and support governance initiatives.

What we’re looking for

Exceptional attention to detail, with strong written communication, editing and document management skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple competing tasks to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
Proven ability to build effective relationships, communicate confidently and provide advice, training and support to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
