Child Psychologist & General/Clinical Psychologist Opportunity – Join Our Growing Team on the Northern Gold Coast

Are you a Child Psychologist or General/Clinical Psychologist wanting to work within a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated team? We would love to meet you!

Our brand-new clinic has now opened in Pimpama, joining our two established and thriving clinics in Oxenford and Parkwood.

Founded in 2014, Mind on Health is a well-established multi-site private psychology practice with an excellent reputation amongst local GPs, mental health professionals, and the wider community for the standard of care we provide across the Gold Coast. We are passionate about supporting psychologists to build sustainable, rewarding, and successful careers.

With beautiful purpose-built consulting rooms, a highly experienced and dedicated administration team working across all clinics, and strong referral pathways already established, successful applicants will walk straight into a rewarding caseload with ongoing support.

We currently have referrals available for child, adolescent, and adult clients, and clinicians are able to choose the presentations and age groups they feel most comfortable working with. For psychologists who also conduct assessments, assessment referrals are readily available.

You will be supported by a friendly and efficient practice manager, experienced reception staff, and opportunities for regular peer supervision and collaboration with colleagues.

An experienced and professional administration team and practice manager
Regular new referrals aligned with your preferred client presentations and interests
Secure and advanced client management software with remote access for completing notes from home if preferred
Assistance with marketing and developing relationships with local referrers
Opportunities for peer supervision and professional collaboration
Flexible working arrangements, including office hours Monday to Friday and/or evenings and weekends if preferred
Opportunities to offer Telehealth services if desired
Potential opportunities for home visit appointments if preferred
Generous split-fee arrangement
The opportunity to step into a financially rewarding role with strong administrative and clinical support

Essential Criteria:

Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Eligibility to provide psychological services under Medicare
Experience treating a range of mental health presentations using evidence-based modalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with referrers and the community
Professional, reliable, motivated, and self-driven
Warm, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality psychological care

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience working with children and adolescents
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience conducting psychological assessments
