We’re on the lookout for a fast, reliable, and motivated Short Order Cook to join our team. If you’re passionate about food and take pride in every plate you send out — we want to hear from you.
What you’ll need:
- Confidence working the grill, fryer, and hotplate
- Able to cook eggs, proteins, and breakfast items quickly and consistently
- Solid knife skills and understanding of basic food prep
- Ability to read and follow dockets accurately
- Stay calm and focused under pressure
- A basic grasp of food safety and hygiene standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and plate meals to order with consistency
- Prep ingredients and keep your station stocked
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation
- Communicate clearly with both front of house and kitchen teams
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines
- Manage cooking times efficiently during peak periods
- Clean down equipment and kitchen areas at the end of shift
