Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Welder / Boilermaker
- Fitting experience preferred
- Strong Mig welding skills
- Able to pass a welding test
- 3rd Year apprentices welcome to apply
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Work on a wide variety of heavy fabrication jobs (Plate Work, Pipework and/or Structural Steel)
- MIG, Stick & TIG welding
- Interpret and work with design specifications
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Test and inspect welded components for flaws
- Grinding components as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
- Maintenance and repair of basic underground equipment
- Must provide and maintain your own basic hand tools
- Site work

- Forklift Licence
