Mollymook Golf Club is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our Operations Team on a full-time basis.
As a Duty Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operation of the Club, providing leadership across multiple departments while ensuring exceptional experiences for our members and guests.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting daily operations, leading teams, maintaining service standards, ensuring compliance, and delivering operational excellence across the Club.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, the Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Club, ensuring departments are running efficiently, employees are supported, and members and guests receive exceptional service.
This role operates on a three-week rotating roster, providing a balanced mix of day and evening shifts.
Shift times range from:
6:30am – 3:30pm
3:30pm – 2:30am
The roster includes evenings, weekends, public holidays, and one weekend off each month, along with five weeks annual leave.
Previous experience in a similar management role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the Club
- Managing and leading the efficient day-to-day running of Club operations
- Adjusting daily rosters to meet operational requirements
- Leading, coaching, developing, and motivating team members
- Creating a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and recognition
- Ensuring exceptional customer service for members and guests
- Managing staff performance and addressing operational issues as they arise
- Handling escalated customer enquiries and complaints
- Maintaining venue presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Ensuring compliance with Club policies and procedures
- Managing compliance with RSA, RCG, AML/CTF, and all relevant legislative requirements
- Maintaining workplace health and safety standards and responding to incidents when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous management or supervisory experience, preferably within a Club, Hospitality, or Customer Service environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support teams
- Experience managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer and member experiences
- The ability to lead by example and maintain high service standards
- Experience across hospitality operations, including food and beverage, gaming, events, promotions, cash handling, and reception
- Strong organisational and rostering skills
- An appreciation for the effective use of resources, labour management, and stock control
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
Essential Requirements
- Current RSA Competency Card
- Current RCG Competency Card
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
