Cinebar Coolangatta is seeking experienced Hospitality Duty Managers and Shift Supervisors to join our leadership team at The Strand.

Cinebar is not a traditional cinema. We combine premium cinema experiences with full restaurant and licensed bar service, delivering food and beverages directly to guests throughout their movie. About the Role
As a Hospitality Duty Manager / Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing venue operations during your shift, supporting and developing staff, and ensuring our guests receive the high standard of service that Cinebar is known for.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work alongside your team, lead by example, and take ownership of the venue during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of up to 8 staff members during service.
- Open and close the venue in accordance with company procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Coordinate food and beverage service across multiple cinema auditoriums.
- Coach and develop team members through ongoing training and support.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and venue organisation.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a positive and professional team culture.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory, team leader experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems independently.
- A positive, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods.
- Current RSA Certificate.
