Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a highly experienced management professional to join our Eastern Region team as Central Area Manager (New South Wales).
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Country, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and financial outcomes across our concrete and logistics operations throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter regions . The role spans both Heidelberg Materials and Hymix brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Utilise your operational expertise to enhance our concrete plant and logistics performance with a continuous improvement mindset.
Business Impact: Make critical decisions affecting sales, financial reporting, and cost management within budget.
Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers to drive new business and achieve sales targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis and gather intelligence to identify strategic business opportunities within your region.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and expand our customer base.
Team Development: Inspire, motivate, and coach your team to execute strategies effectively and achieve regional goals and objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Qualifications: Degree qualified or with at least 5 years of management experience in quarrying and concrete operations.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business impacts and market dynamics.
Financial Expertise: Proficient in managing budgets and monthly P&L statements.
Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and results.
Relationship Builder: Ability to build strong, effective relationships with key stakeholders.
