Full Job Description

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is seeking:

Two experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner's to join our healthcare team in both our Maddington and East Perth clinics!

These permanent, full-time roles are essential for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering comprehensive health services. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will provide advanced, evidence-based primary health care within your AHPRA-approved scope of practice, delivering culturally safe and holistic care to patients and families.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in a dynamic medical environment.

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will:

Deliver autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing.
Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
Develop and coordinate patient care plans and referrals.
Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary health professionals.
Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and education to staff.
Support quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Build strong relationships with patients, community members and stakeholders.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement.
Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) qualification.
Extensive clinical experience in Primary Health Care or a related field.
Excellent communication, clinical decision-making and leadership skills.
Current Working with Children Check, WA Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance.
A commitment to culturally safe care and improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
