Physiotherapist

We are seeking a caring Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team at Corryong Health. This position is well supported and would ideally suit a graduate or an individual looking to gain further experience.

In this role you will:

Provide physiotherapy services across various areas including:
Acute care inpatient services - work in a multidisciplinary team to provide patient centered care and support discharge planning
Outpatient services - provide assessments, develop treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions for patients referred to physiotherapy
Residential aged care - assess residents and work with care staff to optimize physical functioning
Falls prevention programs - assess fall risks and design interventions to improve balance, strength and mobility to reduce falls
Treat patients with conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological, cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders
Use physical and electrical modalities in patient treatments
Assess and evaluate programs and treatments using relevant outcome measures and patient goals
Participate in coordinated care programs with other health professionals
Work with patients and families to implement home exercise programs
Complete accurate clinical records of assessments, treatments and patient progress
Develop and deliver preventative health and wellness initiatives

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy
Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated understanding and ability to provide client focused and evidence -based care in a range of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatients, residential aged care and the community.
