Full Job Description

Join a locally run psychology practice in Townsville where your work can make a genuine difference in people’s lives. This part-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to support individuals in a caring, well-supported private practice environment.

We are seeking a psychologist who values meaningful connection with clients and is also qualified to complete behaviour support plans as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

You will be joining a welcoming and supportive team that values quality care, strong relationships, and long-term professional fulfilment. Our established systems and processes are in place so you can focus on the work that matters most.

We are looking for:

A Registered Psychologist who can also work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in response to growing demand across our practice.

No practice overheads, with the costs of running the practice taken care of for you.
Invoicing handled by our team, so billing and payment processing are one less thing for you to manage.
Client follow-up managed, including scheduling, reminders, and aftercare, so you can stay focused on quality care.
A client management system provided, with proven and easy-to-use systems and processes already in place.
A computer provided, with everything you need ready from day one.
Competitive pay, with subcontractor or employee options available and no practice running costs.

Application Criteria:

Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner within the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Confidence to work autonomously, manage a caseload, and contribute as a caring, motivated, and quality-focused clinician.
