Living Gems Developments is the powerhouse behind the construction of Living Gems communities.

Are you an experienced Plant Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity? Living Gems Developments are seeking an Excavator and Skid Steer Operator to join the team.

We are looking for an experienced and licenced Excavator and Skid Steer operator with skills in utilising a laser. Reporting in to the Site Supervisor, this person will be experienced in cutting house pads, removing spoil and compacting earth.

If you are experienced within construction, proactive about tidying the site and also very health & safety aware - THIS IS THE ROLE FOR YOU.

Responsibilities and Requirements as a Plant Operator include:

Cutting pads to the correct heigh
Using a laser to nominated level
Ability to work off profiles
Cutting pads to datum points and benchmark points utilising surveyed RL levels and laser equipment
All pre-starts on machinery
Precise in excavation
Excavator Licence (essential)
Skid Steer Licence (essential)
Telehandler Licence (preferred)
Taking direction and proactive in understanding what is required for the role
Ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy
Construction Industry Card (White Card)
Australian driver's licence
Previous experience as a construction labourer
A real understanding and diligent about Site Safety
