About the opportunity
This role provides, develops and maintains an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Nursing Director/Program Manager Rehabilitation Services and Clinical Director, Rehabilitation Services.
This position will operate with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of the multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Ability to work autonomously and to act innovatively, resourcefully and meet deadlines and commitments relating to the day-to-day functioning, including procedures and practices of the Mental Health Service Group.
Demonstrate high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels both within and external to the organisation. Highly developed attributes intact and judgement on sensitive issues.
Experience in the provision of high-level executive support services and knowledge of the functions of a senior executive office or senior executive group that requires the efficient use of departmental computer software applications, office tools and record management systems.
Possession of advanced computer skills including Queensland Health Information Management Systems; Microsoft word and excel software applications.

Salary range: $3038.50 - $3379.10 p.f. (AO3)
4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
