About the opportunity
This position will support the Manager Employee Relations to deliver services to a large and complex hospital and health service, including the management of significant, high risk and/or complex industrial relations and employee relations matters.
Please note - This is a temporary full-time role, up to 12 months.
Requirements:
Whilst not mandatory, possession of a tertiary qualification in industrial relations or human resource management would be highly desirable.
Divers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.

Salary range: $4791.30 - $5132.30 p.f. (AO6)
4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Sound knowledge of industrial and employee relations theory, principles, policies and practices within a large complex workforce environment.
Previous experience in delivering a similar role using influencing skills to deliver business results or efficiencies within industrial constraints.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence and engage others and deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner.
Ability to perform as an individual contributor and team player under pressure, responding quickly to requests, and achieving necessary timelines and results in line with expectations.
Sound analytical ability to identify and analyse problems, and formulate and implement appropriate courses of action, converting them into high level and objective written documents for key stakeholder approval.
High level communication and interpersonal skills.
