JOIN OUR TEAM
The Junior Data Analyst will support the Casino Product Manager with analysis of data and provide recommendations to stakeholders on improvement, revenue, customer experience and efficiency opportunities across the Company. The position will provide analytical support across all Food and Beverage, Hotel and Gaming departments by producing recurring and ad-hoc reporting, monitoring performance and delivering actionable insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
THE ROLE
The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for:
- Performing data analysis and visualisation using tableau, power bi and excel to support business decisions and performance monitoring.
- Developing and maintaining tableau/power BI dashboards and excel reports, tailoring the content to various stakeholders.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and models to support decision-making and optimisation efforts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand business needs.
- Performing ad hoc data analysis and reporting as requested by management.
- Assisting in the identification and resolution of data-related issues.
- Continuously improving data analysis processes and tools by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Supporting the Casino Product Manager in performing advanced statistical analysis and modelling.
Full-Time Salary: $75,000-$80,000
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Previous experience in a Casino/Gaming environment is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in relevant software programs including Excel, Power BI and Tableau for data analysis and visualisation.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and concepts.
- Experience consolidating reports across multiple tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Excel analytics training including statistics and reporting foundations highly regarded.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in IT systems, project coordination, or digital transformation.
- Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets including data validation and quality controls.
- Effective communication skills to present complex data insights concisely.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and professionally to stakeholders and operational teams/leaders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of SQL or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), or UAT processes is an advantage
