Full Job Description

POS Installation & Repair Technician (Contract)

We are looking for a hands-on POS Installation & Repair Technician to assist with POS hardware installations, repairs, and mounting work at retail and hospitality sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain POS equipment, poles, brackets, and mounting hardware.
Securely mount and adjust POS terminals, stands, and associated fixtures.
Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, and drilling equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and installation issues on-site.
Ensure all installations are completed safely and professionally.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with POS hardware installations, retail fit-outs, or similar field service work.
Confident using drills, screwdrivers, anchors, fixings, and other installation tools.
Practical, mechanically minded, and comfortable performing physical installation work.
Ability to work independently and solve on-site issues.
Experience working in retail, hospitality, or commercial environments is preferred.

Job Details

Contract / Casual role.
Geelong-based site work.
Own tools preferred.

This role is best suited to a handyman, shopfitter, field technician, maintenance technician, or installer with strong practical skills rather than purely IT/software support experience.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
