As a Registered Nurse with Outpatient Services, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and appropriate patient care within a patient-focused ambulatory care environment. This role provides the opportunity to work collaboratively across the Medical Centre, Radiation Oncology, and Day Treatment Centre, supporting high-quality care delivery across multiple service areas.

To be successful in this role, applicants will demonstrate recent clinical experience in an acute care setting, a commitment to ongoing professional development and training, and a genuine interest in cancer care.

Employment details

Positions available: Permanent Full-Time (Part-Time will be considered)

Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1 - 8

Remuneration: $37.48 to $52.62 per hour + super + annual leave loading

Selection criteria (Essential)

Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum 12 months recent experience in cancer nursing or an acute care setting.
Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing or similar or willingness to work towards same.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment, including during periods of high demand and competing priorities.
Demonstrated well-developed communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Pre-employment conditions:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
Successfully complete pre-employment checks. Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.
Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
