Dental Folk is looking for our next dentist. Three days a week to start, growing to four within six months for the right person. Newgrads welcome. Two-plus years of clinical experience is the sweet spot.
The practice
Dental Folk is upstairs in the arcade at Toronto, on Lake Macquarie. Forty years in the same location, rebuilt under Dr Quyen Nguyen as a modern, education-first practice. We compete on time and trust, not price or volume. Longer appointments and photos so patients can see what we see. We are a private clinic, not a preferred provider for any health fund.
Around fifty new patients walk in every month, almost entirely word of mouth. Our waiting room sees three generations of the same family on the same morning, and the kind of patient who tells us, at seventy, that she gets the giggles when she comes here.
The role
You’d be working alongside Quyen, Jerry, and Dharshan on general dentistry. Adrian visits the practice once a month for complex implant surgery. Skye and Tanya look after hygiene. A small clinical team on purpose.
Three days a week to start, growing to four within six months for the right person. A typical day is a mix of check-ups, restorative work, same-day crowns on CEREC, cosmetic dentistry, implants and smile makeovers. A balanced caseload across all ages.
We don’t push treatment plans. We give patients time to make decisions and we write the plan down. The work is rewarding and we take the time to deliver our best for everybody.
