Job Description
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing blending, storage, and dispatch operations at our Toowoomba site. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant site performance, while leading and developing a small team to meet production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance

Implement and enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS/OHS requirements
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and risks
Support audits and ensure adherence to site and industry standards

People & Leadership

Lead, supervise, and develop a small team
Conduct training, toolbox talks, and performance management

Communication and Networking driven building relations

Drive a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement

Operations (Inventory management & Dispatch)

Coordinate daily picking, inventory management and dispatch activities
Monitor stock levels, implement strategies to optimize inventory, conduct cycle counts, audits, and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements
Manage inventory, stock movements, and documentation
Oversee receival and dispatch processes, including weighbridge activities
Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to optimise performance
Operate mobile equipment (forklift, loader) as required
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to improve productivity, reduce waste, and meet company goals

Skills & Experience

Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or bulk handling environments
Proven leadership and people management capability
Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Mechanical aptitude and experience with plant or equipment
Forklift and/or front-end loader licences (required)
Sound computer skills (MS Office or similar systems)
