Key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a diverse range of duties including but not limited to the following:
- Apply professional accounting, financial and taxation knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairs
- Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
- Prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS for all entity types;
- Provide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained;
- Liaising with the ATO;
- Helping to identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues;
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the services provided by the firm
Relevant experience/qualifications:
To be successful in your application and this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major
- CPA or CA qualification (or in progress)
- Minimum 3+ years public practice experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Taxation Law;
- Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
