Core Cider

Situated on 40 acres of apples & fruit orchards in the Perth Hills, Core is an exciting 4th generation orchard renowned for quality award winning cider, located just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD.

The venue features an 'orchard to table' restaurant and cellar door experience, large alfresco cider garden overlooking the grounds as well as endless options for both formal and casual weddings and events.

With tourism attractions, orchard picking & tours, onsite cider production and a regular calendar of public events, there is truly something for everyone.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking and enthusiastic and creative weddings and events specialist to take this unique venue to the next level, as well as creative individuals to assist with the next chapter in our exciting marketing and sales team!

You will have freedom to bring and utilise your previous expertise in the area of all things weddings, functions and events & tours, whilst having opportunity to think outside the box and maximise all revenue opportunities that may arise.

As the main contact point for weddings & events you will be the 100% in control of your destiny, whilst receiving full support from the leadership and greater Core team.

Ideally suited to a up and coming Events Co-ordinator looking for their next challenge, or a seasoned Events Manager looking for great work/life balance in an exciting and continuously growing business, the opportunities are endless.

Roles available to suit a sales superstar, a ‘hands on’ weddings & events expert, as well as to suit the more tourism, events & marketing focused star!

Part-time and Full-time opportunities available.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for all wedding & events from the initial enquiry through to the sales process, event co-ordination and handover to operations team
Maintaining of wedding & function databases
Preparation and maintenance of detailed event run sheets
Attend & participate in weekly function meetings, ensuring all details are up to date and accurate on upcoming events
Communicate with the kitchen, operations & greater Core team in the lead up to all functions & events
Work closely with the Head Chef on all wedding & function menu's, including client menu tastings and special event requirements
Assist in the planning of all external events & festivals

What you will bring:

A great attitude!!
At least 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role
An unshakeable passion for weddings and events, with a mature ‘hands on’ approach
The ability to work in a multi-faceted large scale venue with a fast paced environment
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Excellent time management
Impeccable attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability
RSA Required
Approved Manager Card preferred

Own transport is required with free onsite parking. Discounted meals & cider available!

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
