Help Shape Futures at C&K Birkdale South Childcare Centre

As our highly valued Assistant Director at C&K Birkdale South, you’ll be part of a leadership team to create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. As your career develops you will have the opportunity to take on Educational Leadership responsibilities and help shape the future of the centre.

Permanent full-time
40 hours per week + monthly RDO
$42.12-$ 43.50 per hour plus superannuation

As an Assistant Director, you will:

Support the Centre Director in leading a dynamic, inclusive, and play-based learning environment.
Mentor and guide educators to deliver best-practice early childhood education.
Contribute to strategic planning, compliance, and operational management.
Build strong relationships with families and the wider community to enhance learning experiences.

What you’ll bring

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success! We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
