Our client is a highly respected Civil Construction Company, specialising in the installation, repair & maintenance of Sewer, Water, Storm Water and associated services i.e. Man Hole Builds, Storm Water Pits, Individual Property Take-Offs, all manner of connections (Commercial/Domestic), New Property Estate Developments etc. including regular confined space entry, trenching & shoring (using shields) and all forms of excavations involving pipe laying (Gravity Feed & Laser Levelling), removal, modifications and maintenance.
The majority of their work is located in the South Eastern, Outer South Eastern & Mornington Peninsula regions of Melbourne.
As a result of new contracts which will last for several years, they are seeking to engage at least 4 experienced and "Hands-On" Plant Operators & Pipe Layers who have proven industry expertise.
Applicants MUST be in a position whereby you can commence in these roles ASAP i.e. as early as Monday next week. Ideally we are wanting as many of these tickets to be valid - applicants at all levels encouraged to apply:
- Construction Industry White Card
- Certificate III in Civil Construction Highly Regarded
- Strong Machine Operation Skills - Predominantly Excavators
- Previous Experience with Pipelaying Advantageous
- Exposure to Sewer/Water/Storm Water Mains
- Confined Space Entry
- Operators Ticket (Excavator/Back Hoe) 5-30T
- Spotters Ticket - Advantageous
- Traffic Control (Stop/Go Bat) - Advantageous
- Trenching & Shoring Ticket - Advantageous
- Working at Heights
- HR/HC Licence - Advantageous
On offer to attract the best candidates is an attractive hourly rate with a range from $47:50/HR to $55/HR subject to experience, skills and tickets. Travel Allowance of $30/Day, Co-Invest, with daily and weekend overtime available. Typically there is 1.4 to 2.4 hours overtime weekdays and regular Saturday overtime as well (50-58hr weeks).
Please NOTE: ALL Roles will commence working Full-Time Hours in a Casual Employment arrangement and transfer to Permanent Employment upon satisfying business requirements.
