About the role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team! Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will consist of processing of invoices payable and receivable, reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash, and liaising with internal and external customers. As well as this, you will be required to take ownership of the office administration function which will include assisting with reception duties. This position is full time Monday to Friday located at our Wollongong Head Office.
About you:
To be the successful candidate, you will have:
- Previous accounts experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- A professional and proactive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail in dealing with high volume data.
- An ability to work with high degrees of numeracy and the ability to negotiate and solve problems and meet strict deadlines.
- Pleasant telephone manner and will demonstrate high levels of customer care.
- The ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated highly effective communication skills – both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.
