Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to consumers in their daily activities.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability Support or relevant qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- National Police Check (completed within the last 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Understanding and commitment to maintaining consumer confidentiality.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a care setting.
- Greek, Turkish, Mandarin, Arabic, Dari/Persian, Tagalog speakers..
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the care industry.
- Experience working with diverse client groups (e.g., elderly, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
- Additional relevant certifications or training (e.g., Manual Handling, Medication Administration, etc.).
