Job Title: Housekeeper / Guest Services

Location: Stillwater Seven, Launceston, Tasmania

A little about Us:

Stillwater Seven is an award-winning luxury hotel housed in a historic flour mill and lies on the banks of the Tamar River in Launceston. Family owned and operated we pride ourselves on offering our guests an authentic and memorable five-star experience, blending contemporary elegance with Tasmanian charm. Known for attracting both international and domestic guests, as well as being a favourite among locals, we offer seven exclusive rooms, exceptional dining, and personalized service. We’re seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and maintain the high standards our guests expect.

Position Overview:

To join us on a casual basis for up to 20 hours per week initially with the potential for more we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help ensure our hotel is always spotless and welcoming. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in upholding the exceptional quality of service we offer, contributing to a memorable guest experience. For the right candidate a part-time role may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and prepare guest rooms, common areas, our restaurant and other hotel spaces according to our high standards.

- Ensure rooms are stocked with the necessary supplies and amenities.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storage areas.

- Work closely with other staff to ensure efficient room turnover.

- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.

- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in all areas.

Qualifications:

- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred but not essential.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in work.

- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently and as a part of a team.

- Positive attitude and a professional demeanour.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
