Full Job Description

Located in the Huon Valley in the town of Cygnet, we are a family-owned business producing the highest quality strawberries and have grown to be the largest commercial strawberry growers in Tasmania.

We are seeking a qualified Horticulture grower to join our team, we expect you to;

Planning and coordinate the production and marketing of crops from soil preparation to harvest, considering environmental and market factors.

Selecting and planting seeds, seedlings, and bulbs, and grafting new varieties to root stocks.

Maintaining crop production by cultivating, de-budding, pruning, and maintaining optimal growing conditions.

Organizing farming operations such as collecting, storing, grading, and packaging produce, as well as organizing the sale and purchase of produce.

Directing and overseeing general farming activities, including fertilizing, pest and weed control, and maintaining farm equipment.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
