The Role

Based at our Alanvale campus in Launceston, you will be the driving force behind training the next generation of fitting and machining students to provide the best industry training on offer. We are looking to fill two positions across the Fitting & Machining and Welding & Fabrication trade.

On any given day, you will:

Drive, design and deliver training that ignites passion in future fitting and machining or fabrication and welding champions

Shift into excellence, keeping training aligned to learner and industry needs

Fuel student success, inspire and support them from campus to career

Utilise your admin and digital skills to keep records accurate and updated

What you bring:

Certificate III in Engineering or Fitting and Machining or Welding and Fabrication and current industry experience is essential

Experience as a mentor or trainer is desirable (Cert IV TAE qualified or willingness to obtain the relevant qualifications)

Ability to turn complex concepts into practical, hands-on lessons.

Strong people skills, empathy, and the ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for a diverse range of students and lead by example.

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
