About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Hobart Family Dental in Hobart. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed
Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are fully stocked
Greeting patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
Scheduling appointments and handling other administrative tasks as required
Maintaining accurate patient records and dental charts

What we're looking for

A qualified Dental Assistant with at least 1 years' experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the wider dental team
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Ability to work well as part of a team
