JUMP! Swim Schools Caroline Springs is looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service & Swim Instructor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families and children, has strong communication skills, is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and like to teach swimming to young kids.
Prior experience in a swim school, leisure centre, or aquatic facility or Qualification of Swim Instructor will be highly regarded.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and play an important role in supporting the growth of the swim school through excellent service and sales conversions.
As a Swim Instructor, you will deliver high-quality swim lessons to babies, toddlers and children following the JUMP! Swim Schools curriculum. Lessons are designed to be fun, safe and skill-focused while building water confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
- Deliver 30-minute structured swim lessons to small groups of children aged from infants through to 12 years
- Follow JUMP! Swim Schools curriculum and lesson progression plans
- Teach water safety, breath control, floating, kicking, basic stroke skills and safe entry and exit techniques
- Adapt lessons to suit each child’s ability and learning pace
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and students
- Assist customers at the front desk and respond to walk-in enquiries
- Build strong relationships with families and ensure a positive customer experience
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Convert new leads into enrolments from walk-in, phone, and online enquiries
- Follow up on leads through outbound calls and messages
- Assist families in selecting the most suitable class level and schedule
Retention
- Support customer retention by maintaining strong relationships with families
- Assist customers with class changes, questions, and general support
Administration
- Manage and respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate customer records and enrolments in the system
- Provide general administrative support to the swim school operations
About You
- Previous experience in customer service or administration
- Experience in a swim school, aquatic centre, or leisure facility is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident handling phone enquiries and sales conversations
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
- Positive attitude and strong team player
- Available to work atleast 1 of the weekend days.
