About the opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking professional growth and work-life balance. The role offers exposure to diverse specialties, development of procedural sedation and paediatric nursing skills, and involvement in quality improvement and education. Nurses work autonomously and collaboratively while delivering safe, evidence-based care. This is an ongoing 0.6 role. With Monday to Friday business hours and no night duty, weekends or public holidays, this position offers an opportunity to further develop a paediatric nursing career within a supportive team. A minimum of three years' paediatric experience is required. Desirable qualifications include an immunisation certificate, nitrous oxide accreditation and a postgraduate certificate.

Classification for this position will be in accordance with Award 22 - Registered Nurses.
Depending on experience and qualifications, the successful candidate will be appointed from YP4 (RN Grade 2, Year 3) to YP9 (RN Grade 2, Year 8), $89,284.00-$107,510.00 per annum, pro rata for part-time, plus superannuation.
About the department:
Provides family-centred ambulatory care across paediatric specialties. As part of a multidisciplinary team, nurses deliver care in Burns, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, nurse-led procedural sedation services and outpatient procedures. The team works closely with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to provide excellent patient care and improve service delivery.
