In this role, you'll:
We currently have a permanent full-time team leader Line-marking opportunity to join the team based in South Tamworth.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead and coordinate routine maintenance activities, planning and scheduling works to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of road maintenance projects and operational tasks.
- Supervise, support, and develop team members, providing day-to-day direction, on-the-job training, toolbox talks, and competency assessments to build capability and maintain safe work practices.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental standards are met, implementing WHS requirements, managing risks, conducting safety reviews, and ensuring adherence to environmental and traffic management procedures.
- Manage operational resources and stakeholder communication, coordinating approvals, plant and material requirements, digital reporting, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture that supports effective service delivery.
- This role is based in South Tamworth, and you’ll work 9 days a fortnight (Enjoy every 2nd Friday off) .
- In addition to the above, you will be required to work outside of normal working hours (including night shift) and away from home.

About you
- You bring hands-on experience in team leading and the ability to support the delivery of safe and efficient operational outcomes.
- You have demonstrated experience leading or supporting small teams, providing guidance, coordination, and fostering a positive team environment.
- You hold a current White Card and valid Australian Class C driver's licence, enabling you to work safely and travel to work sites as required.
- You are willing to obtain and maintain relevant licences, tickets, and certifications, showing a commitment to ongoing learning, compliance, and professional development.
We are seeking those that reside within a 70 km travelling distance from the Tamworth depot as you will be on call when required.
