We are seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Regional Manager to lead our NSW & ACT operations. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial outcomes, systems optimisation, and data-led decision making across a diverse portfolio of contracts and services.

About the Role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Regional Manager is accountable for the overall commercial, operational, and financial performance of the NSW & ACT business units.
Leading a large, geographically dispersed workforce through Operations Managers, Client Account Managers, Project Managers, and support teams, you will ensure all services are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with contractual and operational standards.
A key focus of the role is driving operational excellence through structured systems, KPI governance, workforce optimisation, financial discipline, and performance analytics. You will use data insights to support strategic decision making, improve productivity, maximise contract performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.
You will also play a critical role in stakeholder engagement, business development, risk management, and long-term operational strategy while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee operational delivery across sports turf, irrigation, construction, and horticultural services throughout NSW & ACT

Manage a $50M+ portfolio, driving strong financial performance through effective P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives

Develop and implement systems, governance frameworks, and operational controls to improve consistency, productivity, and scalability across operations

Utilise operational and financial data, KPI reporting, and performance analytics to support strategic and commercial decision-making

Monitor contract performance, workforce utilisation, and service delivery metrics to optimise profitability and operational outcomes

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and financial performance

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to support contract retention and business growth

Support business development initiatives, tender submissions, and strategic expansion opportunities

Lead, coach, and develop operational leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and high performance

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies across all operations
To Be Successful You Will Bring

5+ years’ senior leadership experience leading large-scale operational teams and service delivery environments

Manage a $50M+ budget with full financial and operational accountability across multi-site operations

Demonstrated commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, contract performance, and profitability management

Proven success implementing operational systems, KPI frameworks, reporting structures, and continuous improvement initiatives

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability focused on operational performance, efficiency, and business outcomes

Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to build strong client and team relationships

Qualifications in Turf Management, Horticulture, Park Maintenance, Business, Operations Management, or related disciplines preferred
