Business Description:
Tawakkal Renovations is newly established business involved in renovations & construction industry and hence we need "Carpenter" or "Wood Machinist" to perform following:
1. Taking Order/s & Visit Customer premises to take measurements
2. Provide quotes and estimates - cost and timeframe
3. Inspect and examine drawings, work orders and sample parts determine specifications.
4. Recommend designs and materials to customers
5. Selecting material such as timber, veneers, particle board and synthetic wood
6. Must have sound knowledge in selecting timber, wood, plywood & wallboard
7. Prepare layouts and take measurements
8. Cutting and shaping wood as per layouts/measurements.
9. Work on drawings/specifications to make and join cabinets and frames.
10. Assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed articles.
11. Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves.
12. Making frames for wardrobes, chair, tables and couches.
13. Use tools and equipment for nailing and screwing the wooden parts and frameworks
14. Fitting and fixing doors, windows, draws, cabinets, wardrobes & all interiors
15. Conduct repairs to all interiors including doors, windows, draws, cabinets & wardrobes
16. Efficiently use cutting techniques with accurate dimensions & assemble them for fitting.
17. Must be able to complete cutting list and be able to cut, edge and assemble joinery.
18. Must be competent with machinery and basic tools
19. Follow health and work safety policies and laws
Skills Required:
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education: Certificate III + at least 2 years of on the job training or Certificate IV and
Experience: At least 1 of highly relevant experience
OR
At least 3 years of highly relevant experience if no formal qualification
Skills:
1. Work experience in Construction Industry
2. Specialised in constructing, fitting & repairing doors, windows, draws, cabinets, wardrobes & all interiors
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
