What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based and compassionate nursing care while supporting patients throughout their breast cancer treatment journey. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you'll help coordinate care, advocate for patients and contribute to positive health outcomes.
In this role you will:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care in an outpatient setting
Partner with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional person-centred care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and utilise electronic health information systems
Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and a positive team culture
Support and mentor graduate nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other members of the nursing team

Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Demonstrated recent surgical and or oncology nursing experiences.
Willingness to travel within the LHD to cover the service area of the role.
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
Valid NSW Drivers' License
