Sydney Creative is looking for a passionate and versatile Creative Workshop Instructor to join our team! We’re seeking someone with a love for all things crafty, who can turn their hand to a variety of creative projects, and enjoys sharing that passion with others. Our studio offers a range of workshops, including candle making, soap making, paint & sip, and sewing classes, so adaptability and creativity are a must!
About the Role:
As a Creative Workshop Instructor, you’ll be responsible for leading fun, engaging, and hands-on workshops that leave participants inspired and excited. You’ll guide the groups through the creative process, helping them learn new skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.
The studio is generally open in the evenings Monday - Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Please ensure evening and weekend work suit your current lifestyle before applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run a variety of creative workshops with great energy, enthusiasm and patience.
- Public speaking is a large part of this role, as you will stand up in front of a room full of people, introducing yourself, the studio, and guiding the class. Having the ability to project your voice with confidence is key.
- Be open to undergo training to run different types of activities, this includes but is not limited to Candle Making, Soap Making, Textured Painting, Polymer Clay, Jesmonite, Silversmithing and more.
- Run private events for hens parties, birthday parties and team building.
- Run mobile sessions off-site at the client's location.
- Engage and support participants of all skill levels to ensure they have a fantastic experience
- Build a rapport with participants during sessions by engaging in conversation
- Prepare materials and ensure the studio is set up for each class
- Assist with stock management
- Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the studio
- Assist with organising the studio and keeping the place clean and tidy
About You:
- Creative and versatile, with a strong passion for crafts and hands-on projects
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable leading groups of various sizes
- Organised, punctual, and reliable
- Willing to pick up evening shifts Mon-Fri, and work weekends.
- A team player who can take initiative and is open to learning new skills
- A happy, confident and fun individual who goes above and beyond for our customers to ensure they are having a great time

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
