What’s the role?
This is an 18-month max term opportunity where you’ll play an important role in strengthening credit decision quality across our Business and Wealth portfolios. Working within Credit Assurance, you'll conduct independent hindsight reviews of credit decisions, assess the application of credit policy and Credit Approval Authority requirements, and provide practical feedback that helps improve future decision making.
You’ll work closely with credit decision makers and key stakeholders, sharing insights that help identify emerging themes, recurring issues and opportunities to strengthen risk management capability across the business. If you enjoy analysing complex information, building trusted relationships and making a genuine impact through your expertise, this is a role where you can thrive.
This is a full-time role based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with no expectation to work outside your agreed schedule.
What do I need?
- Experience in credit decisioning, credit risk, assurance or Business Banking.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and make sound judgments.
- Knowledge of credit policy, Credit Approval Authority application and credit risk management practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to provide constructive feedback.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and problem-solving capabilities.
