About the role
Due to continual growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Specialist Services team within Holmes Fire (incorporating Fire Protection and Passive Fire services). We’re now looking for a Passive Fire Engineer to join our team in Sydney.
This role will see you working alongside an experienced team of Fire Engineers on a wide range of projects across many industries. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in the passive fire design and construction monitoring of these projects, providing passive fire advice and capability in order to maintain the fundamental requirements of building compartmentation, structural stability, fire separation and safe means of escape. You’ll also ensure passive fire designs are in keeping with relevant industry codes and standards, whilst developing strong relationships and working closely with our customers and local authorities.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for someone who has experience working as a Passive Fire Engineer or similar in a consultancy or contractor business. We're interested in hearing from people with on-site construction experience along with knowledge of QA processes and systems. An Australian certificate in Passive Fire Protection Systems, along with proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is highly desirable.
