The Role:
An exciting opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our Lidcombe team in the position of IT Support Officer. The focus of this role will be to provide IT support to our NSW offices, as well as remote support for other areas of the business. You will liaise with a range of business stakeholders and clients to resolve and troubleshoot IT desktop hardware and software fixes and installations. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Install & configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor computer systems and networks
- Talk clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the phone, to set up systems and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults
- Replace parts as required
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults and set up systems
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Set up new user accounts and profiles
- Prioritise and manage a number of open cases at any one time
- Establish good working relationships with clients and other professionals, including software developers
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Work closely with our head office IT team in Melbourne
Key Selection Criteria
- Relevant experience in an IT support role
- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline is beneficial but not required
- Experience supporting the Microsoft 365 suite of apps and all modern Windows OS
- Ability to coordinate multiple and competing priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting Apple iOS and Android products
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and experience administering server equipment and networking peripherals
- Adaptable, positive, and can-do attitude
