Job Description
At AECOM, our acoustics specialists are at the forefront of advising clients on environmental and occupational acoustics, transport infrastructure noise, vibration, industrial noise control, and building acoustic design. Based in Sydney, you’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of projects.
How you’ll make a difference

Assist with site visits to measure and observe acoustic conditions.

Help perform acoustic predictions, calculations, and 3D modelling under guidance.

Contribute to design recommendations and support research activities.

Participate in client and design team meetings to share insights and learn from the team.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support the delivery of integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.

Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.

Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.

Driver's Licence: A driver’s licence is essential for the role.

Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
