How You’ll Shine?

As a Porter, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Assist guests with luggage, including transporting bags to and from rooms safely and efficiently
Support the Front Office team with guest arrivals, departures, and general concierge-style assistance
Greeting and registering of owners and guests
Assist with valet parking processes
Providing information to local area attractions, completion of all department related paperwork
Using all communication equipment including telephones, facsimiles and computers

What You’ll Bring?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within a similar hotel position is highly regarded
Valid drivers licence
Ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks in line with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera etc) advantageous
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays
Genuine passion for customer service and the local area
Strong interpersonal skills and immaculate presentation/professional grooming standards
