Kraft Balustrades & Pergolas Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time Metal Fabricator to join the team at Silverwater, NSW.
Current Role and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Operate machinery and tools such as welders, grinders, cutting saws, drills, and bending machines to manufacture metal products.
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision and according to project specifications.
· Fabricate balustrades, railings, pergolas, gates, fencing, stairs, and other custom metal structures.
· Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or stick) and finishing tasks, ensuring strength, accuracy, and quality of work.
· Inspect completed work for accuracy, dimensions, and quality standards before delivery.
· Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and machinery in good working condition.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Install fabricated metal structures (balustrades, railings, pergolas, awnings, stairs, gates, etc.) at residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
· Take accurate site measurements and adjust fabricated items when necessary.
· Use power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment safely to carry out installations.
· Coordinate with site supervisors, builders, or project managers to ensure installations are aligned with project requirements.
· Perform on-site welding, cutting, or adjustments when required.
· Adhere to occupational health and safety standards, including the correct use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during installation.
· Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism while representing the company on-site.
· Uphold company quality standards and ensure compliance with building codes and industry regulations.
· Report progress, challenges, and completed work to supervisors or managers.
· Continuously develop skills and stay updated with new fabrication techniques and tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
· AQF Certificate III and at least 2 years of relevant work experience
· Experience working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Salary: AUD $77,000 before superannuation
Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
