Full Job Description

Our Sustainability Reporting team within the Financial Management, People and Engagement Group is committed to meeting Macquarie’s Sustainability Reporting data, reporting, and analytical needs. As part of our global finance team, we are responsible for advancing sustainability reporting to address evolving commitments and obligations in Australia and globally. We are a future-focused team dedicated to driving change by being curious and bold, ensuring Macquarie’s Sustainability practices are communicated effectively to stakeholders across the group.

What role will you play?

As the Financed Emissions Lead, you will oversee the reporting of Macquarie's finance emissions. You will also be involved in providing subject matter expertise in greenhouse gas accounting for financed emissions and drive transformative process change to enhance Macquarie's sustainability reporting capabilities. Additionally, you will engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to support Macquarie’s sustainability reporting requirements, and monitoring market developments in sustainability, climate policy, and reporting frameworks.

What you offer

Experience in ESG and sustainability reporting, especially with financed emissions
Background in an analytical or quantitative discipline (e.g., accounting, finance, engineering, climate science, economics)
Experience implementing process changes and driving transformation in a complex evolving environment
Skilled in analysing data; proficiency in mathematics and quantitative methods is highly regarded.
