Full Job Description

Pool Aide are looking for an experienced Electronic Trades Equipment Worker for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Lindfield.

The Electronic Trades Equipment worker will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and calibration of electronic systems, including pool pumps, filtration systems, chemical controllers, and temperature control devices.
Diagnose and repair electronic equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. This includes troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and control system issues.
Assist in the installation of new electronic equipment or upgrades to existing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor and analyze data from electronic systems to ensure water quality parameters (e.g., pH, chlorine levels) are within acceptable ranges. Take corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts. Prepare reports on equipment status and performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify potential hazards and take preventive measures.
Provide training and guidance to pool staff on the proper use and maintenance of electronic equipment to promote efficiency and safety.
Manage inventory levels of electronic components and spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance and repairs.
Respond promptly to equipment failures or emergencies to minimize disruption to pool operations.

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:

At least 03 years of work experience in electronic related equipment
Prior experience in electronics maintenance or repair, preferably in a pool or aquatic facility setting.
Knowledge of electrical systems, electronic components, and control systems.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills.
