In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for the enterprise wide management and optimisation of core analytics platforms including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, and Alteryx, supporting a large and diverse user base across Transport. You will lead platform enhancement initiatives, and develop high quality reporting solutions to meet evolving business needs and drive data informed decision making.
The position focuses on three key areas:
- Platform Operations: Leading day-to-day platform management, including incident triage, issue resolution and service request fulfilment to ensure system availability, performance and reliability for thousands of users, this is the primary focus of the role.
- Technical Advisory: Providing specialised technical guidance to business and portfolio teams, supporting the design and delivery of data and analytics solutions aligned with platform standards, governance and best practice
- Content Support: Delivering ongoing operational support for analytics solutions, responding to growing business demand by maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting dashboards, reports and workflows.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability and effective use of enterprise BI platforms, while enabling business teams to maximise value from their data.
This role reports into the Senior Manager for Products & App Enterprise Platforms.

About you
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
- Expertise developing and supporting analytical solutions for Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Tableau, with exposure to Alteryx highly regarded and the opportunity to develop capability in this platform provided
- Background working within large, complex organisations with diverse stakeholder groups and systems. This role will support over 18,000 users
- Strong working knowledge of data modelling principles
- Experience coordinating with other teams for planning, designing, governance, engineering, and the release management of processes
- Proven capabilities translating complex business requirements into clear data and technical specifications
Nice to Haves:
- Relevant certifications across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau or Alteryx platforms highly regarded
This is a permanent flexible hybrid role. Your time will be based from our offices at Macquarie Park (every Wednesday, and one other day of your choice). This is a grade 8 role paying from $137,551.00 to a maximum of $154,055.00 + super.
